Danie Carelsen of SEAGATE SECURITY went out of his way to secure a donation for us from ET Systems for two gate motors to enable us to secure our entrance gates remotely. It became a necessity as crime has escalated in the Uitenhage area and we were afraid that our residents were really soft targets. Now if you need entry to the institution you have to call us from the intercom at the gate, we will identify the person/s and the reason for the visit and then open the gate.
Once again this was a rather big sponsorship to House Minette by ET Systems and therefore we gave them the opportunity to advertise their business at our premises. Without these kind of sponsors House Minette will not be able to operate.
Johan Slabbert of Starlight Electrical sponsored all the cabling and electrical equipment for the gates. We want to express our gratitude to these sponsors for making it possible for us to secure our institution and the residents.
We also received a large donation of Mince from “Dawie” the owners of Sutherland transport, Perserverance, Port Elizabeth as well as a donation of meat from Willem and Christa Volker from Cradock.

Special Donation received from SORINA ERASMUS “THE FLOOZE” for the 40 Blankets donated to re residents. Sorina and her husband Braam has been making donations to House Minette for the past four years and the residents, staff and trustees are very grateful for her personal participation with the institution.

Hulle ontvang hoegenaamd geen finansiële ondersteuning van die staat nie en is totaal en al afhanklik van donasies. Gerrie en Isabella Bezuidenhout het hierdie woning vir die gestremdes in geloof en afhanklikheid van die Here begin en dit verg werklik baie spesiale mense met besondere gawes en geduld om na hierdie mensies om te sien.
